We transformed a neglected space into a sumptuous yet relaxing room, using a strongly contrasting colour scheme across the walls and furnishings.

Painting the walls with Farrow & Ball Stiffkey Blue created an elegant effect.

We carefully populated the room with visually interesting furniture to create a warm, homely feeling.

We all love the way the Farrow & Ball Stiffkey Blue accentuates the beautiful patina of the natural wood.

We kept the front of the room light to make the most of the southerly aspect, creating a lovely spot for the client’s coffee and paper in the morning.

A detail of the bespoke neutral rug. The bespoke footstool, also featured in the previous photo, is covered in a Royal Collection velvet. Both shades of green complement the blue in the room and adds visual interest.

We upholstered the piano stool in one of our favourite fabrics from the Margo Selby Ragtime Collection. Bright, yet subtle, with a pattern that softly echoes the rug.
